George A. Miller
George A. Miller, who began the WordNet project in the mid-1980s, passed away on July 22, 2012 at the age of 92.
He was the James S. McDonnell Distinguished University Professor of Psychology, Emeritus and senior research psychologist and principal investigator of WordNet.
